Ad geographiam historico-iuridicam ope iuris Romani colendam - Studia in honorem Gábor Hamza
The authors of the present Festschrift are greeting Gábor Hamza, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Professor of Roman Law and Comparative Legal History of the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University, for his 65 th birthday, which was on 22 February 2014. They are tributing to the worldwide known famous Professor of Roman Law, who has devoted his life to science, who has provided his exceptionally rich, widescaled knowledge and scholarship generously for all those who, either in Hungary, or abroad, or in Europe, or even overseas, have been interested in the Roman law, the legal history of the Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Modern Age, and the questions of comparative law, by means of his lectures, books, papers, or even by personal conversation or correspondence.
